Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how femtowork Inc. collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes data in connection with Quontext. Effective April 3, 2026.
Operator and scope
This Privacy Policy describes how femtowork Inc. in Japan handles personal data and service data collected through Quontext, including the website, public support surfaces, related clients, and paid plans.
If you have privacy questions, export requests, deletion requests, or billing-data questions, contact quontext@femto.work from the account email associated with the request.
Information we collect
We collect account data such as email address, profile information, authentication identifiers, Device Sessions, and API tokens. We also collect service content and metadata, including Clips, uploaded assets, notes, intent signals, and request metadata needed to operate the product.
We also collect billing identifiers, support correspondence, security records, search queries, error logs, and operational traces. Some data is provided directly by you, some is created by your use of the service, and some is received from service providers involved in hosting, billing, or authentication.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, create and maintain sessions, store and retrieve Clips, run search and indexing workflows, manage billing, answer support requests, investigate incidents, prevent abuse, maintain security, and improve product reliability.
We do not sell your personal information. We use access controls and operational restrictions so that data is accessed only when needed to provide, secure, support, or legally operate the service.
Service providers and disclosures
We use external service providers to operate Quontext. These providers receive only the data needed for their role in hosting, billing, storage, model processing, or incident monitoring.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.
Retention
Account data and primary service content are generally retained while your account remains active. Billing records, anti-abuse records, and security logs may be kept for a longer period when needed for legal compliance, payment reconciliation, fraud prevention, or incident investigation.
Backups and derived data, such as indexing artifacts and temporary operational copies, may remain for a limited period after source data is changed or deleted, especially where needed for resilience or disaster recovery.
Export, deletion, and your choices
Signed-in users can generate a JSON export from Settings and can also initiate account deletion from Settings. If you cannot access the account, contact quontext@femto.work from the account email tied to the request so identity and scope can be verified.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or portability of certain information. We may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling those requests.
International processing and security
Quontext and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. By using the service, you understand that data may be transferred to and processed in those locations, subject to applicable law.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no internet or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children and policy updates
Quontext is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of this policy, contact quontext@femto.work.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date. The public support center is available at /support.
