Terms of Use
These Terms of Use are a contract between you and femtowork Inc. regarding your access to Quontext and related services. Effective April 3, 2026.
Operator and scope
Quontext is operated by femtowork Inc. in Japan. These Terms apply to your access to and use of the Quontext website, product surfaces, public documentation, support pages, related clients, and paid plans.
By using Quontext, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for keeping your registration information accurate and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, Device Sessions, API tokens, and billing details.
You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless caused by our own fault. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact quontext@femto.workpromptly.
Acceptable use
You may use Quontext only in compliance with applicable law and only with content you are authorized to process, store, or share. You must not use the service to violate rights, gain unauthorized access, interfere with service availability, distribute malware, or engage in abusive automation or scraping.
If you save or process third-party content, you are responsible for ensuring that your use is permitted by the relevant owner, contract terms, and applicable copyright or data protection requirements.
Your content and our limited license
You retain ownership of the content you submit to Quontext. However, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to host, store, process, index, transform, transmit, and back up that content solely as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
This license ends when your content is deleted from the active service, subject to limited retention in backups, billing records, security logs, and other records that must be retained for legal, operational, or recovery purposes.
Paid plans, renewals, and cancellations
Paid plans are processed through Stripe. Pricing, billing interval, taxes, renewal terms, checkout disclosures, and the current plan limits shown on the service are presented before purchase. Unless the checkout flow or applicable law states otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
Cancellations, payment method updates, and most billing self-service actions are handled through the hosted customer portal. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we explicitly state otherwise.
Plan limits, overage, and plan changes
Free and paid plans may include usage quotas or operational limits for captures, stored clips, uploads, storage, Agent API usage, priority processing, or similar service capacity. The current limits are described on the current pricing, Settings, support, or checkout surfaces and may change over time.
If we make a material adverse change to a major quota for an existing paid subscription, we will normally apply that change from the next renewal term or through a successor paid plan, rather than reducing the quota during an already-paid subscription period. We will use reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of that type of change.
If your account exceeds the limits of its plan, we may restrict new captures, uploads, API calls, or other new usage until the account returns within the applicable limits, the relevant period resets, or the plan is upgraded. In normal operation, we do not intend to block access to or export of existing data solely because of a plan overage.
However, if continued over-limit storage, abuse, system integrity issues, recovery needs, or other operational constraints make it reasonably necessary, we may require deletion of stored data or delete stored data to restore compliance or protect the service. This is not our default operating policy, but by using the service you acknowledge that it may occur when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, or recover the service.
Service changes and availability
We may add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Public pricing, support, and documentation pages describe the current service, but they do not create a promise that any feature will remain available in its current form.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, or permanent preservation of all data.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe an account is violating these Terms, harming other users, creating security risk, failing to pay applicable fees, or exposing us to legal liability.
You may stop using the service at any time. Signed-in users can access export and account deletion controls in Settings, and support can help verify requests when account access is no longer available.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability to the extent such limitation is prohibited by applicable law. Subject to that rule, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms will not exceed the total amount you paid to us during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Questions about these Terms, billing, account access, export, deletion, or privacy may be sent to quontext@femto.work. The public support center is available at /support, and Quontext is operated by femtowork Inc..
