Begin from the Client you are actively connecting so that sign-in, bootstrap, and Device Session creation all happen in the same flow.

Recommended path

Follow these steps in order to get from sign-in to a confirmed first Capture.

    Sign in from the Client you are connecting

    Use `Continue with Google` or email magic link first. Then return to the Client that started the flow so it can exchange its own bootstrap token into a Device Session.

    Connect the browser extension

    Open the extension popup, confirm `App URL`, click `Sign In`, then use `Load Current Selection` or `Save Selection Capture` after auth completes.

    Connect the mobile app

    Open the mobile app, confirm `App URL`, tap `Sign In`, then return from the browser callback and Capture a link or image from the share flow.

    Confirm the first successful Capture

    After Capture, check the Clips list first. If the Clip is present but still processing, give the Processing Pipeline a short moment before you escalate.

Where to verify success

After the first Capture, confirm state in the Clips list before you troubleshoot indexing or processing.
